Phoenix Modular DIY Modular Home Built Synth

Synthgeek13 recently salvaged his dead Ensoniq ESQ-1 and other parts including an APC-style oscillator, a 566-based VCO with square, saw, and triangle outputs, a white noise generator, an analog multiplier/AM device, a simple square/triangle LFO, and a mult panel. He plkans to next add a filter/VCA based on one of the ESQ's CEM3379 chip and perhaps a sample and hold module. In the video below he is running the synth through a tabletop filter and being modulated by the 556 lfo and the Phoenix's lfo. The results are pretty cool. Check out the videos below. The first of the synth itself, while the following ones are a synth jam with the Phoenix and a few of Synthgeek13's other synths and devices. Visit Synthgeek13 at http://blog.skincontact.com/
